Dear Valued Member, Welcome to Western Nevada Horseman’s Association, (WNHA).We thank you for looking into our growing club and showing an interest in WHNA.We value your membership and hope you get the most out of WNHA by involvement in our shows and gymkhanas
The purpose of our organization is to sponsor educational clinics, to promote safety, good horsemanship and sportsmanship, to organize equine events and promote understanding in human/equine relationships through caring for, training, and riding both competitively and for pleasure. The WNHA holds a meeting, Board and General once a month.
WNHA is based on the concept of horse and rider becoming a mirrored partnership through education, training, showing; trial and error and plenty of riding.WNHA Open Events are APHC, ACAAP, OCAP, and AHA/OEIP approved.
WNHA offers several classes for all skill levels and discipline’s for both the horse and rider to compete; and classes to test your speed skills. We also offer 3 age classes to choose from.
WNHA, at times, may offers clinics for members and non-members to develop their skills and increase their knowledge in many areas of horsemanship. If there are any clinicians who would be interested in holding a clinic, please contact Cheri Langus at 775-762-1815.
WNHA promotes teamwork, good sportsmanship, ring etiquette both in and out of the ring and an overall positive support for all our members, while providing an environment that supports the learning process.
We are happy to welcome you to our extended family of horse lovers.WNHA is a members club; we welcome your input, participation and talents. So, saddle up, volunteer where you can and enjoy your everlasting relationship with you and your horse.Volunteering is not only fun, but you’ll get a chance to know some of the members in which always makes for a better time.
